Film tax relief

 
The government’s proposal to increase the rate of film tax relief to 25% for all qualifying productions has been given state aid approval by the EU. Previously the rate was 25% for the first £20m of qualifying expenditure and 20% for spending above this threshold. The scheme will be backdated to apply from April 2015.

HMRC have opened their new national digital delivery centre in Telford. Established with Capgemini it joins the centres in Newcastle upon Tyne Shipley and London.
