  1. A national minimum wage campaign has been launched by HMRC. It is targeting the hair and beauty industry so consider writing an article for the local newspaper warning local businesses and telling them what they should do. This could be a useful way of winning new clients.
  2. Now the High Court has ruled against the taxpayers in the judicial review proceedings challenging the validity of accelerated payment notices and partner payment notices taxpayers who receive a notice must pay up or ask HMRC for a time-to-pay arrangement.
