VAT applicable to a UK company selling and dispatching goods from Poland

We recently started to act on behalf of a new client and have encountered a VAT dilemma that I hope Taxation readers may be able to help us with.

The client trades through a limited company based and registered in England and Wales. It has voluntarily registered for VAT in the UK although no sales have as yet taken place here. The company produces designer clothing in factories...
