The Revenue launched its health and wellbeing tax plan last October to provide a disclosure opportunity to workers including physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, chiropodists, homeopaths, dieticians, psychologists and art therapists.
Those who come forward will face a penalty of no more than 20% of the tax owed.
HMRC voluntary disclosure campaigns have collected more than £552m in tax since 2007, with an additional £224m raised through follow-up activities by the department. A number of criminal investigations are underway. Seven people have been convicted so far, with custodial sentences of up to two years.
