The Working Together steering group (WTSG) has been considering the effects of the integration of Working Together and the Joint Initiative on Service Delivery (JISD). In future, Working Together will identify problems, and JISD will deliver the improvements.
In light of this, it was concluded that the WTSG will no longer be required. It has not yet been decided who will do the other work of steering group volunteers.
All other Working Together activities, including local meetings, will continue.
According to HMRC, “The integration of Working Together and JISD is intended to enhance the delivery of service improvement; the local Working Together network remains a key part of both the identification of service issues and of HMRC’s overall work with and for agents.”
