The Revenue is seeking views on its online correspondence-tracking tool, which was launched in September to allow PAYE employees and agents to check on the status of responses from the taxman.
The Where’s My Reply? web offering lets users know when they can expect HMRC to pay an income tax refund or send a form or stationery, and agents keep stay up to date with the progress of form 64-8 submissions.
If the initial phase proves to be successful, HMRC will consider adding more options and products; officials are keen to receive feedback – via an onlinme form – to help them measure taxpayers’ experiences.
Taxation would also be interested to learn users’ thoughts on the tracker tool’s usefulness. Please send us your comments.
