Students
From 6 April 2013, form P38(S) will be withdrawn and students must be treated in the same way as all other employees for income tax and National Insurance purposes regardless of when they work for the employer.
Royal assent
The Finance Bill 2012 received royal assent and became Finance Act 2012 on 17 July.
Tax credits
Tax credit claimants have until 31 July to renew their claims. If they do not renew in time, payments could stop. For help with renewals, claimants can call 0345 300 3900.
