At first glance these books look quite different despite having similar subject matter.
The CCH guide with its distinctive orange cover looks concise and reader-friendly. The Bloomsbury publication has an appealing cover but is significantly thicker than its CCH counterpart. Finally the Tolley’s guide is by far the largest and appears to be the most technical.
Bloomsbury’s contents pages set out each chapter by subject matter (along with the key aspects of each chapter). They also include a table of statues and cases. The index is set out by topic.
CCH has a comprehensive contents page (by topic) along with a useful summary of key data (rates of corporation tax rates of interest and so on). The index is set out by cases legislation and topic.
