Focus on fast food

Fast food outlets which deliberately falsify their records and misdeclare their true sales levels are the target of HMRC’s fourth taskforce. The department is planning a further nine taskforces in 2011/12 with more to follow in 2012/13.

Comments are invited by 1 September 2011 on the proposed changes to the corporation tax rules on loan relationships and derivative contracts arising from the introduction of IFRS 9.
