Charity audits
HMRC have revised their detailed guidance on audits by HMRC Charities, in particular the section headed ‘Putting things right’. This is in response to feedback from taxpayers.
Feed-in tariff
A consultation has been published on the proposed legislation to clarify the appropriate capital allowances treatment of expenditure on plant or machinery that could qualify for payments under either the feed-in tariff regime or the renewable heat incentive. Responses should be sent to HMRC by 31 August 2011.
