Forms CWF1

'When will HMRC rid themselves of this ivory tower syndrome?'

Having read issue 21 of HMRC’s Agent Update I was disappointed to note that forms CWF1 etc. cannot be printed without the mandatory boxes having been completed.

So to obtain a blank form that I can no longer download it has been necessary to ring HMRC for a supply effectively costing me and HMRC money.

Such efficiency!

I would have thought HMRC would consider that when completing these forms and obtaining signatures access to a computer is not always available and are there not some parts of the UK that do not have broadband?

All is not lost however since the agents update seeks customer feedback on this change by email as supplied. A pointless gesture since my email has been returned as undeliverable.

When will HMRC rid themselves of this ivory tower syndrome? Further cutbacks will block...
