HMRC project to modernise internal compliance operational guidance
HMRC have recently published issue 41 of Working Together which aims to keep advisors agents as well as clients up to date with current tax affairs. Within the newly ‘tabbed’ format the news this month includes:
- HMRC have launched a project to modernise and update its internal compliance operational guidance (COG). Updated employer compliance guidance will be published on the website from the end of November when at the same time the Employer Compliance Handbook will be withdrawn. HMRC hopes that in time the COG project will introduce changes to internal guidance which is currently found in the Compliance Handbook. Further updates will be provided on the HMRC website.
- HMRC have published the live availability of the agent account manager service (AAMS) throughout the UK. Agent account managers will replace agent customer relations managers (CRM) who previously acted...
