Transfer of processing office
With effect from 1 April 2010, the processing of self assessment agent code requests and agent authorisation forms 64-8 for non-resident agents will be transferred from HMRC Charity, Assets and Residence Office to the Central Agent Authorisation Team in Newcastle.
From that date, non-resident agents should send all applications to: HMRC, Central Agent Authorisation Team, Agent Maintainer, Benton Park View, Longbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne NE98 1ZZ.
Requests must be sent in writing as HMRC will not accept requests made by telephone or fax. Agent authorisation can also be requested using HMRC's online agent authorisation process.
