TaxHelp for Older People is a nationwide charity providing pro bono tax advice to older people on low incomes.
Over the years TaxHelp’s role has expanded to include a wide range of consultative work with HMRC, as well as the National Audit Office and similar bodies, while also undertaking training and educational programmes with the voluntary sector.
After ten years, the chief executive, Paddy Millard, has decided to retire, and the trustees are advertising for a successor to take over the reins in spring next year.
Anyone feeling like a challenge and a new approach to tackling the problems of making tax comprehensible to pensioners should have a look at the TaxHelp website, where they will find the advertisement for the post.
