Issue 33 of HMRC’s Employer Bulletin has been published. It contains several articles covering a range of topics including the new PAYE service the national minimum wage and filing online.

Updating PAYE Online

Later this year HMRC will be making some changes to their free Online Return and Forms – PAYE product and there will be a few days in November it will not be possible to send forms online using this service.

Exact dates will be published on the service availability page of HMRC’s website. They say that as part of the changes the following data will be deleted:

  • any data that relates to a period before 6 April 2006 from the employer's part of the online application;
  • all unsubmitted data that has not been updated for 12 months irrespective of the date it was created.
