The UK has signed two more tax information exchange arrangements (TIEAs) that will allow the sharing of tax-related information to Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development standards.
The first is with Anguilla, the text of which is available online.
The second accord is with the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is the first such agreement to be signed by the British Overseas Territory, whose government has since come to TIEAs with the Netherlands and Ireland.
The text can be read online, and, as with the Anguilla agreement, it will shortly be laid as a schedule to a draft order in council for consideration by the House of Commons. It will then be available from the Stationery Office.
The two TIEAs will come into effect as soon as the governments involved have completed the necessary procedures to give effect under domestic laws.
