The third edition of Tax Indemnities and Warranties has been eagerly awaited in our department for a number of years.

I had used the second edition as a junior lawyer when first published and had found it to be extremely useful.

However the ten year gap between editions had resulted in the previous edition languishing at the back of our book shelf for a good number of years.

The new edition is much larger than its earlier version (not surprising given the huge changes which have occurred in the field in ten years) and now includes a more in-depth analysis of the due diligence process as well as a new section on dealing with transactions with an international aspect.
