The next meeting of the ICAEW Tax Faculty Younger Members’ Tax Club takes place on 3 March 2009 at 6 pm at The City Tavern, 29-30 Lawrence Lane, London EC2.
Robert Maas from Blackstone Franks will lead the discussion on the new tax appeals system focusing on the issues likely to concern practitioners with Robin Williamson (technical director of the LITRG) providing an overview of the issues of relevance to low-income taxpayers.
This will be followed by an open forum.
Tax Club events are free and open to all young (i.e. aged 35 and under) professionals who are interested in tax as a career; it is not necessary to belong to the ICAEW or work in tax.
Anyone who would like to attend should email, or turn up on the night.
