Just before Christmas the Guildford office of Baker Tilly was fortunate enough to be able to welcome Teresa Graham chair of the administrative burdens advisory board (ABAB) of HMRC and Stephen Banyard director of HMRC’s Business Customer Unit to a question and answer session led by business advisory partner Danielle Stewart.

Attendees from the business community had the opportunity to put questions on the vexed subject of the administrative burdens of dealing with HMRC.

Initially Teresa set the scene by reminding the audience of the increasing regulation affecting businesses over the past twenty years.
