  • Completing a VAT questionnaire may obviate the need for a VAT visit.

A couple of weeks ago one of my practitioner clients sent me a copy of a seven-page VAT questionnaire and covering letter that one of her clients had received in the post from HMRC.

They asked for a lot of detail about the VAT affairs of the business. Her question to me was very direct (just as I like them):
