On 17 March the Tax Faculty of the ICAEW organised an event to 'Meet Dave Hartnett' in the grand surroundings of the Churchill Room at 100 Parliament St.
The chairman of the Tax Faculty Paul Aplin introduced the session. Dave Hartnett then spoke and subsequently answered questions from the audience.
Although many of the usual suspects from the professional bodies were present there was also a good turnout of senior HMRC officials (the 'naughty boys and girls on the back row' as Dave Hartnett frequently referred to them) and most importantly a good number of Tax Faculty members from smaller practices who often do not get...
