My client is a UK resident yoga instructor. She arranges yoga holidays/breaks in Italy from the UK for which payment is made into her UK bank account.
The holiday/break entails my client arranging accommodation meals etc. in Italy which my client pays for suitably supported by receipts etc. As part of the holiday/break my client also performs yoga lessons.
These holidays/breaks are advertised through the Internet and although they are mainly aimed at the UK market it is possible for non-UK clients to participate in them.
Although my client's tax affairs are up to date in the UK she is concerned that she is leaving herself open to the Italian authorities.
Readers' views would be appreciated as to whether her fears are realistic and if there is any action which she should take to eliminate those fears.
