- Hannah studied economics at university and afterwards joined Coopers & Lybrand where she trained in tax specialising in VAT.
- She then moved to Ernst & Young for two years before returning to PricewaterhouseCoopers where she was promoted to director in 2004.
- She joined Smith & Williamson as VAT director in 2007.
- Hannah married last July and enjoys travelling when she can.
