Monday 15 October sees the start of Tax Advice Week organised by the Chartered Institute of Taxation
The aim of the week is to run a series of events that help people understand tax better.
Rob Ellerby, CIOT president, says: 'The events that the CIOT runs range from a debate with politicians on policy issues to teaching tax in schools.
'The tax lesson is taught using football so that young people become more engaged with a subject that is difficult for adults, let alone those still at school.'
The week is being launched in London, but there will also be events up and down the country.
