OH DEAR OH dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. How can it all go so wrong? Just when you think HMRC and the policy makers are listening to professional bodies advisers and even taxpayers in one strike they mess it up again and you think they are trying to be the new Chuckle Brothers.
After all the publicity surrounding the Carter report the campaign to get the self assessment deadline pushed back to 31 January and Lord Carter's subsequent exhortation that HMRC should only go public with online services when they have been thoroughly tested and proved to be reliable once again...
