This is a useful readable book covering a wide range of topics in an accessible way. It is designed to answer the key problems faced by family businesses such as extracting funds valuing the company and remuneration planning. The topic-based structure is easy to use: much more so than the alternative of designing the book around the tax system and then expecting the reader to remember how different taxes interact.

Peter's practical approach is reflected in the worked examples; each chapter also ends with a useful planning checklist.
