November blues

ABOUT 1 500 PROTEST slips have been received so far in our 'No to November' campaign — a fantastic result after little more than two weeks as I write this. A further copy of the slip is printed below please keep up the good work. If you and your tax staff have already responded do photocopy it and hand it on to other accountants who might not read the magazine. Also one correspondent has already pointed out that accountancy staff will also be affected as they will have to prepare the accounts in time for the earlier deadline.
We are getting the names and e-mail addresses (where given) on to a spreadsheet as fast as possible so that we can meet our promise to e-mail you with updates. I hope that by the time you read this some of you will have received...
