In November 2000 the student son of Clive Brooks contracted meningitis and later had his left leg amputated. The profits of this book go the Meningitis Trust and it is worth buying a copy on those grounds alone. 
Taxation magazine has asked me to review this little book. Many readers will be aware that each Christmas I contribute an article that contains (hopefully) some humour about tax. What is less well known is that I am a member of a family where all three of us are now disabled. So Clive and I have more than one thing in common.
