Avoidance schemes

Up to 30 June 2005, there have been 524 disclosures of avoidance schemes for direct tax and 787 for VAT. The number of promoters to have made disclosures is 102. According to Dawn Primarolo 'these figures attest to the success of the disclosure rules'.
