Arctic appeal
Mr and Mrs Jones are going to the Court of Appeal to appeal the High Court's decision in Jones v Garnett. They are being supported by the Professional Contractors Group.
Announcing the decision to appeal, PCG chairman Simon Juden said that the PGC was 'pleased to have the generous support' of James Kessler QC, and also thanked various others for supporting the appeal.
The PCG has a fighting fund to help finance legal campaigns, the Arctic appeal being among them. Donations to the legal fund will be used for cases supported by PCG and should be made payable to 'Professional Contractors Group Ltd' and sent to: Legal Department, Professional Contractors Group Ltd, Sovereign Court, 635 Sipson Road, West Drayton, UB7 0JE. Please e-mail kevin.stearns@pcg.org.uk or call 0845 125 9899 for donating via BACS.
If donees wish to donate for the Arctic appeal only, they should specify whether they would like their donations returned to them in the event of PCG ultimately winning the case, or whether they would prefer it to be donated to their choice of charity, e.g. TaxAid.
