Businesslink.gov.uk has launched three new tools designed to 'make life easier' for managers and small business owners. All the tools are free of charge.

Tax key dates
By answering a few questions about their businesses managers and owners can receive a list of important tax-related dates covering the next 12 months. They can also receive an e-mail reminder as each date approaches.

Statement of employment
Managers can create a tailored statement of employment that will cover everything they legally need to give their new employee in writing. They can then download the completed statement and give the finished document to the employee.

Regulation updates
Businesses can find guidance on new and changing regulations before they come into force. The one-page updates provide summaries of new regulation when it takes effect and where to find additional details.
