A career in tax is not all smoke and mirrors. Shaw & Co's ever-gregarious Mark Lee casts his spell on JAMES THOMAS.

I was glad to discover that Mark Lee is a member of The Magic Circle. Glad because I have always wanted to know how to saw a woman in half and more importantly how to dispose of the body. However for the purposes of this interview I managed to restrict myself to sensible questions about tax and careers.
Mark is perhaps best known as the Chairman of the Tax Faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants a position he has held for the last two years and considers a “great honour” (albeit a time consuming one). He is also Vice-chairman of the tax committee of the London Society of Chartered Accountants.
