A third draft of the secondary legislation for the reform of the construction industry scheme together with a note highlighting the changes from the second draft has been published by the Inland Revenue. Copies can be downloaded from the Revenue's website or obtained from local tax offices.

The Government has introduced legislation effective from 14 December 2004 to prevent companies arranging to bring forward tax relief for losses prior to transition to international accounting standards.
