Construction Status Letter — More Thoughts

As the storm over enabling letters for the self employed rumbles on another is brewing over status letters in the construction industry. We have received the following from David Smith of Accountax.

'Around 54 000 standard letters have been sent to contractors and subbies suggesting that following a "review" their tax status may be incorrect. As recent case law has demonstrated regularly contracting to one client proves nothing in terms of tax status.
