Why has Taxation chosen to campaign on HMRC staff cuts? MIKE TRUMAN explains

We launched our Stop the Staff Cuts campaign last week with an open letter to Dave Hartnett.

That set out some of the reasons behind the campaign but this week I wanted to explain them further   and then let you know some of our plans for the near future.

The trigger for the campaign was of course the loss of the two data disks with the Child Benefit database on them; but it really has its genesis in many of the articles...
